About Lonavala to Bhimashankar Trek 

Lonavala to Bhimashankar is known to be one of the ancient trek routes in the Sahyadri ranges. This old route shall put your endurance level to test. This a life changing experience, and worth every effort that you put in every stride. Hills and downhill, plateaus and long vast plateaus, dense forest of Karvi plants, ever-changing route, breath taking beauty. One of the most amazing trekking experiences we must say. If you’re lucky you may see the Karvi flower bloom this year after 7 years.

Day 1 – Saturday

02.00 After introduction round leave from Lonavala for Valvand Village.

07.00 Breakfast at Valvand village. We shall have our pack lunch under a shade on the way.

Reach Savla/Padarwadi. Dinner and stay.

 

Day 2 – Sunday

05.00 Wake-up call.

06.00 Start early morning journey after breakfast.

13.00 Reach Bhimashankar, Lunch at Bhimashankar.

14:00 Descend Bhimashankar by Ganesh ghat.

18:00 Reach Khandas.

18:30 Reach Karjat.

  • Good Torch must with extra batteries.

  • Trekking Shoes provide more grip and comfort on trek.

  • Sleeping material. (sleeping bag or 2 bedsheets).

  • Identity Proof.

  • Please wear Full sleeves and Full Track Pant this will protect from Summer Sun / Thorns / Insects / Prickles.

  • Extra pair of clothes.

  • Extra pair of socks.

  • A plate, mug, spoon.

  • Towel, napkins.

  • 2-3 bunch of papers.

  • Proper backpack to carry all things. (No sling bag, No jholas).

  • Rains are expected, so pack your bags accordingly to save them from getting wet.

  • Double pack your valuables / phones in plastic bags.

  • Rainwear / Poncho / Waterproof jacket etc. if you don’t want to get wet.

  • Sun Cap and Sunscreen.

  • Personal First aid and Personal Medicine.
