Details:

There will be one 8inch telescope with us + one spotting scope for clusters.

13th March is a great night for observing Messier objects in the night skies. (Charles Messier was an Astronomer who catalogued many objects in the night skies, Amateur astronomers usually do a marathon of tracking all the 110 Messier objects in the month of March) We will be observing and discussing many of the 'M' objects on the 13th.

Constellation session - We will explore the night skies to look at the Greek, Roman and Indian constellations. Astronomy has been one of the oldest forms of science and it started with the art of stargazing. Each culture and mythology have their unique ways of stargazing and we will take a sneak-peak into the same.

Telescope session - Nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, double stars and many more exciting objects will be visible to us in the dark skies at Igatpuri and with the 8 inch telescope at our aide the fun gets double!

Stargazing is subject to clear skies. If the skies get cloudy we may not be able to show many objects in the sky.
