Both are popular but are distinct parks with separate gates, zones, and booking systems.

How many gates and zones does Pench have? Pench has seven safari zones and eleven gates in total, five on the Madhya Pradesh side and six on the Maharashtra side. Each state manages its own zones, fees, and timings separately.

Are tiger sightings guaranteed on a Pench safari? No safari can guarantee tiger sightings, as Pench is a wild reserve. However, Pench has a high tiger density and a strong prey base, giving excellent chances — especially on early-morning safaris during the summer months.

What should I carry for a Pench safari? Carry water, a good torch with spare batteries, warm layers for early-morning safaris in winter, a sun cap and sunscreen, neutral-coloured clothing, a camera or binoculars, a power bank, personal medicines, and a valid photo ID (mandatory for safari entry).
