Nagarhole National Park​ Tour Itinerary

Day 1: You’ll be picked from Bangalore in the morning and have your breakfast while travelling. Once you get to resort, take some rest. Brace yourself for 1st jeep or boat safari followed by day meal. The jeep driver will be waiting for you to pick up at the resort’s parking. Take pleasure in the woodland of Kabini. In the evening, return to Resort and enjoy your tea break. Then go to sleep after dinner.

Day 2: Next morning you’ll depart for 2nd gipsy or boat safari. After enjoying leopard or tiger watching, go back for a morning feast. Take some rest, have lunch and after that get ready for 3rd gipsy or boat safari. With the twilight be back to Resort. After dinner, you’ll go to sleep.  

Day 3: Get up early morning and leave for the 4th gipsy or boat safari. After the morning feast, check out. Leave for Bangalore station in a personal car.  

 

Flora of Nagarhole National Park

You can easily find the rosewood and teakwood in the southern region of the park. In its core part, dry deciduous jungles are noticed. When it comes to Pala indigo, it is extremely common here. Also, other important trees witnessed here include silver oak, sandalwood, teak, axle wood, cotton tree, Indian gooseberry, etc. Additionally, other eye-catching tree varieties take in the flame of the forest, clumping bamboo, and golden shower tree.

 

Fauna of Nagarhole National Park

This park is highly regarded by wildlife lovers as they get to see numerous Wild Dogs, Hyena, Wild Bears, Leopards and Tigers here. Best Time to Visit Nagarhole National Park

A month from October to May are considered best to visit this park and it generally remains closed for the duration of June, July, August, and September, as it rains here during these months.

  • Road Route: You can get to the sanctuary from Mysore city which is at a distance of 96kms from it. Furthermore, it can also be reached from Madikeri 93 km and Bangalore city 236 km
