Day 1 | Chandigarh to Thanedar (2,350 m / 7,700 ft)
Distance: Approx. 198 km | Drive Time: 5.5 hours
Arrive at Chandigarh Railway Station or Airport by morning and begin a scenic drive via Barog, Kandaghat, Shimla, and Narkanda. As you ascend, the air turns cooler and apple orchards begin to appear.
Check in to a hilltop heritage-style stay, offering panoramic views of the Shivalik range.
Spend the evening at leisure with a bonfire, local stories, and mountain silence.
Overnight Stay: Thanedar
Day 2 | Thanedar to Sojha (2,735 m / 9,000 ft)
Distance: Approx. 95 km | Drive Time: 3.5–4 hours
After breakfast, enjoy a guided forest hike through Saratoga Forest, a peaceful trail surrounded by deodar and pine trees. Later, drive via Jalori Pass, one of Himachal’s most scenic high-altitude roads, before reaching Sojha.
Check in to a handpicked forest retreat surrounded by wilderness.

Day 3 | Sojha – Serolsar Lake Trail – Tirthan Valley (1,917 m / 6,300 ft)
Distance: Approx. 50 km | Drive Time: 2 hours
Begin your day with a short nature walk to a nearby waterfall point.
Later, drive to Jalori Pass and start the Serolsar Lake trail, a gentle and scenic forest walk descending through rock-carved steps.
Hidden amidst dense pine forests, Serolsar Lake reveals changing hues across seasons and remains one of the most serene alpine lakes in Himachal. The trail is easy, peaceful, and perfect for slow exploration.
Post trek, drive down to Tirthan Valley and check in to a riverside resort.

Day 4 | Tirthan Valley – Village Walks & Riverside Life
After breakfast, visit Sarchi Village, one of the oldest heritage villages in Tirthan Valley. Walk through traditional wooden homes, terraced fields, and apple orchards while interacting with locals.
Continue with a gentle village walk in Jamala, offering insight into slow Himalayan life and age-old traditions.
In the evening, try your hand at fishing in the Tirthan River (season and permissions permitting), or simply relax by the riverside with a book or warm tea.

Day 5 | Sonaugi to Chandigarh

Early morning departure with packed breakfast. Drive via Mandi and Bilaspur to Chandigarh.
