Hampi Badami Heritage Tour

Hampi is an ancient village in the south Indian state of Karnataka. It’s dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. On the south bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple, near the revived Hampi Bazaar. A carved stone chariot stands in front of the huge Vittala Temple site. Southeast of Hampi, Daroji Bear Sanctuary is home to the Indian sloth bear.

Hampi Badami Heritage Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 - Welcome to Hampi

We arrive in Hospet by 11 am. Hop into Auto-Rickshaw, get ready we are heading to Hampi. A cozy local Homestay is arranged for you . Our day start with sightseeing the ancient ruins in and around Hampi town in a auto rickshaw. Spend your evening at Mantanga Hill and Tungabhadra River.

DAY 2 - Hampi to Badami (2.5 hours)

Early morning we will be visiting Badami caves (approx 130 kms) stopping en route to visit a World Heritage Site - Pattadakal - a complex of 7th and 8th century CE Hindu and Jain temples in northern Karnataka (India).There are 10 major temples in Pattadakal, all dedicated to Lord Shiva. Whilst Aihole, which is popularly known as the "Cradle of Indian Architecture". Aihole is a historical town situated on the banks of Malaprabha River and Finally Badami, magnificently situated in a Located in a valley of rugged red sandstone, surrounding the Agastya Lake, Badami famous for is large rock cut caves.

Late evening we head back to Hampi

DAY 3 - More Hampi

Good Morning ! We are back to Hampi our sightseeing marathon continues  visiting famous majestic Vithhal Temple, Stone Chariot, Queen’s palace, Durga Temple.

DAY 4 - Hampi to Anegundi -  Gangawati

Morning we head to other side of the river via road to Anegundi (Ganagawati) previously called Kishkindha . Anegundi or Anegondi, is a place of historical and mythological importance which takes you back to the days of the Ramayana pre-historic rock Art and Vijaynagara era monument in ruins. Spend your day sightseeing. Early evening we visit historic Pampa Sarovar followed by a small hike (30 min uphill) to Anjaneya Hill a birth place of Lord Hanuman and houses a very beautiful Hanuman Temple on top of the hill, also known as Monkey Temple. We end our day with heavenly sunset. Evening a cozy Home-stay near paddy farm is waiting for you.

Day 5 - Bouldering & Camping

Spend your morning learning rock climbing (Bouldering) or simply strolling around boulders along the paddy field with its endless trails of boulder hills and right terrain, Hampi is climbers heaven. Post lunch enjoy coracle ride & water actives . Evening we are camping.

Day 6 - Good Bye Hampi

Lazy Morning . Post checkout you have free time to shop and enjoy near by attraction after lunch we head back to hospet to board a bus back to Mumbai.

Offbeat Tour

We have travelers from all the groups of age. Since this is an offbeat travelling community, The majority of travelers are between the age group of 20-40 belonging from various professional sectors.
Most of our travelers here are solo . No one has a prior acquaintance with anybody other than on the community. It is going to be like the first day of school or college or office, excitement of meeting new people with the thrill of the trip. Do not expect anything less than an adventure. Absolutely, that’s the beauty of small group travel. You will make friends quickly and your Tour lead will become a good source of support to you along the way too!
Most of our trips split pretty evenly down gender lines. We average roughly 60:40 female-to-males, so you’ll never feel outnumbered.
We follow a set of safety rules to make your travel experience physically and mentally safe. Our team is well trained and equipped to handle any kind of situations. Also we send precaution note for most of our trips couple of days before departure.
The fun of travelling in groups is sharing of rooms. We recommend that you share the room with fellow travelers for better bonding and understanding. Somehow, if you wish to have a separate room anyway, that can be possible for additional amount depending upon the accommodation.
Every trip has an well designed itinerary to make most out of the destination or event. Group travel are all about experiences . However If any point of time, you feel like exploring the things by yourself or would like to skip a day at stay back apart from set Itinerary, you have the freedom to do so yes only after consulting with tour Lead (Remember Traveler adhere the additional cost if any  ). Not everybody likes museums like no everyone enjoys shopping.
