About Water Sports:

The beach is lovely and laid back, several restaurants, bars, cafes, and beachside shacks are located here.

Leading instructors and operators for Water Sports are present here on the beach. You can try your hand at adventure boat rides like banana rides, parasailing, and jetskis (also called water scooters by locals here.) 

The full season for water sports at Vagator Beach begins in October. The best season to visit  Goa and in particular, Vagator is during the winter, between November and February. The busiest months are December and January though and ideal for all kinds of water sports.

 

Highlights:

  • Vagator is one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches of all beaches of Goa

  • Vagator beach is surrounded by smooth white sand and dotted with enormous black boulders, and coconut and palm trees. 

  • It is well-known for its stunning natural surroundings and cliffs.

  • Big Vagator and Small Vagator are the two beaches that make up this beach. 

  • Big Vagator is seen to the right of the sea, while Ozran Beach is visible to the left (Little Vagator). 

  • World-renowned water sports like parasailing, surfing, and jet skiing, draw visitors from all over the globe to this location.

  • There are numerous shacks and eateries where you can buy drinks and eat both Indian and other cuisines.

Activity location: Vagator Beach, North Goa.

Activity Time: 10 AM till 5:30 PM.

Activity Duration: Depends upon the package you choose. Mostly it's 1-2 hrs in duration.

Age Limit: 12 years and above.

 

How to Reach? 

By Air: The distance between Dabolim International Airport and Vagator is 45.7 kilometers. At the airport counter, taxis can be rented. Or you use a mode of public transport.

By Rail: Thivim, which is 19 kilometers from the Vagator, is the closest rail station. Margao (57 km) and Vasco da Gama (46.8 km) are two additional railway stations. Again from here, you can rent a bike, taxi, or car whatever fits best in your budget. You can also choose local buses to commute.

Panaji is 22 kilometers from Vagator by road. In case you choose to travel from there. Numerous buses travel to Vagator from Mapusa and Calangute. Mapusa, which is 10 kilometers away, has the closest bus stand to Vagator.
