Tirthan Valley Exploration
 

Far from the deadlines and traffic jams hidden deep within the mountains of Himachal Pradesh are places that are far from the clutches of high amount of tourist arrivals owing to its captivating scenery characterised by snow-clad mountains and serene natural beauty, this ‘Abode of Snow’ is home to hundreds of villages, all beautiful in their own right. Villages in Himachal Pradesh are quite serene with their beauty, magic, charm and peace, the more you try to explore these villages the less you know  Himachal is among the most beautiful and peaceful state in India and all this is possible due to the amazing villages which add to the charm of this opulent state. Himalayan villages are not only famed for breathtaking views of the mountains and gushing sounds of the rivers but also for the simple and unfussy life of people in the villages.  You never know what you find beneath those wrinkled curious eyes and tiny alleys.Whenever we suffer from unbearable heat of summer, all we want to do is escape to hills.

Jibhi often referred to as a mesmerising “hamlet” situated amidst the lush green forests and surrounded by variegated mountain. Jibhi is a scenic, unpretentious and old Himalayan village settled on the banks of the gurgling Tirthan river which is a tributary of Beas river. Jibhi is one such hidden treasure in Banjar valley of Himachal Pradesh and is just the right place to relax .

The Bahu village is an amazingly-preserved traditional slate-roofed, wood-and-stone housed . if it is the culture you seek baht is the right place.

Gushaini or Goshaini located at the Trithan valley in Kullu district is a perfect destination for all adventure lovers. Be it trekking, white water rafting or rock climbing this is the place to be in

Sarchi is a pretty village located high up (approx 2200 m) Offers great views of the valley below and the Great Himalayan National Park mountain range. Sarchi village is set amidst apple orchards and is a traditional village with local architecture and houses made of wood.

ITINERARY

 

Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi
Morning Arrival at Delhi airport or Railway station and reach to Meeting point Majnu ka tila. We have Volvo by 06:00 pm to Aut which is the base village of Tirthan valley.

 

Day 2 : Jibhi
We are going to stay at beautiful riverside hostel where you can do fishing activity and small waterfall trek to Jibhi. Bonfire and dinner Overnight at hostel.

Meals : Breakfast and Dinner

 

Day 3 : Jibhi – Gushaini 
Early morning will leave for Sarehul Lake trek with Pack lunch with you and its almost 6 hours trek and back to hostel with happy memories will leave for Gushaini by cab overnight riverside cottage Tirthan valley.

Day 4 : Gushaini 
Early morning after breakfast will visit last village of Tirthan Valley which called as “Sarchi” and en-route visit village bandal and back to hotel. Overnight stay at riverside cottage.

Day 5 : Gushaini Aut
Today is fishing activity at river front with guide who will teach you few basics of fishing. Leave for Aut to catch evening Volvo to Delhi.

Day 6 : Delhi
Reach Delhi early morning Hostel and catch your respective flights/train
