Lakshman Jhula

Lakshman Jhula across the river Ganga in Rishikesh is the famous hanging bridge that connects two villages, Tapovan and Jonk in Tehri Garhwal and Pauri Garhwal districts, respectively. Made up of iron, this 450-feet long bridge is situated at the height of 70 feet from the river. In the proximity of Lakshman Jhula, lie Terah Manzil temple, the Ram Jhula and the Lakshman temple.

 

Triveni Ghat

For those holy spirits, who want to meditate and absorb the serenity of Rishikesh, Triveni Ghat, situated on the bank of the holy river Ganga, makes the perfect destination. Watch out Maha Aarti of Ganga which happens every evening at this biggest Ghat in Rishikesh.

This Ghat has reference in Indian epics namely Mahabharata and Ramayana. It was the cremation ground for Lord Krishna.
