Tirthan - Kasol - Tosh Tour Itinerary
Day One - Chandigarh to Tirthan Valley
Board your vehicle and start driving from Chandigarh towards Tirthan Valley. En-route visit Pandoh dam commissioned in 1977 as part of the Beas Project in Himachal Pradesh. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power generation. The high-level reservoir created by the dam has a storage capacity of 362.5 million cubic meters.
Check into your hotel in the evening at Jibhi (Tirthan Valley), Dinner & overnight stay. Tirthan Valley is the starting point of the Great Himalayan National Park. The valley lies around three kilometres from the main entry gate of the park. Once you are there, it will be tough to return as you will get mesmerized by its serenity and scenic beauty.
Day Two – Serolsar Lake Trek
The whole day will be for the Serolsar lake trek, a high altitude lake in the Tirthan Valley of the Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, India. The lake is about 3,100 metres above sea level and is surrounded by thick forest cover. Also known as Serolsar Lake is accessible via the Jalori pass. The driver will take you to Jalori pass. Here you can also visit the Jalori Mata temple. Later start a short hike to Serolsar Lake 10 kilometres to and fro, later trek back to Jalori pass. Dinner & night stay at Shojha.
Day Three – Excursion to Chehni Kothi and Jibhi Waterfall
Today you will be visiting the Jibhi waterfall located approximately 5 kms from Shojha. Later you can go for a short hike to Chehni Kothi, which takes around one hour. The Chehni Kothi or Chaini Kothi is an imposing tower made of stone and wood. Named from the village where it is established Chehni village. The Kothi is a large fortified building with a temple built of wood & stone around the 17th century; after the sightseeing, drive back to your accommodation and enjoy a bonfire in the evening.
Day 4 – Tirthan to Kasol
Good morning; after breakfast, start driving towards Kasol; upon arrival, check into your hotel, and after a fresh upstart. Kasol is a paradise for hippies and travellers; It is a heaven for recreational activities like trekking, rafting, and kayaking. There are many restaurants and cafes in Kasol and its vicinity.
Today we will visit Manikaran, a sleepy town located in the mountains of the outer Himalayas. Manikaran is popular among pilgrims. The Hindus believe that Manu recreated human life after the flood, making it sacred. The Sikh guru Nanak Dev is said to have visited this place in the 15th century. The town has several hot springs that are revered for their healing properties.
In the evening we will visit the local market in Kasol. Night stay in Kasol a hamlet in the district Kullu of Himachal Pradesh; It is situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, on the way between Bhuntar and Manikaran. It is located 28 kilometres from Bhuntar and four kilometres from Manikaran.

Day Five – Kasol to Tosh Excursion
Today the whole day will be for an excursion to Tosh and Barshaini village. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Tosh village, a small village, is peaceful, with few hotels and restaurants on the mountain. This has led many people to believe that the town is off-limits. The lack of infrastructure means that the village is not as popular as other towns in the Kullu valley, and as a result, it is a peaceful and tranquil location.
Barshaini is only 14 km beyond Manikaran, and the road is constantly kept companionship by the Parvati river. Barshaini is a tiny settlement set in the ranges of the Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh. It is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The very definition of peace and tranquillity. The village is home to several attractions that you can visit. Barshaini is a part of the Parvati valley and is a beautiful destination. There are several places to visit in this valley.
Day 6 – Kasol to Bilaspur
Drive towards Bilaspur. Stay at Bilaspur for the night. Bilaspur, also known as Kahlur, lies on the edge of Govind Sagar, an artificial lake. It offers panoramic views of Govind Sagar Lake.
Day 7 – Bilaspur to Chandigarh
Check out from hotel, drive towards Chandigarh. Driver will drop you at your desired location. Your tour concludes here.

- 45 to 16 days prior to date of departure: 30% of the tour cost
- 15 to 8 days prior to date of departure: 50% of the tour cost
