Prabalgad Fort

Based near Panvel City it was destined to become a hill station though absence of water during peak summer season project was cancelled it is opposite to Matheran and visible from Matheran Dam or Lions Head point Matheran.

It takes around 2 hours from base village Thakurwadi guides are easily available at Prabal Machi Village. View of Kalavantin Durg a watch tower near Prabalgad is the highlight of the Trek.

Kalavantin Durg

Voted by Many Website as one of the most difficult Fort to Sumit. It is not the highest fort but the Stone carved steps which lead till the Pinnacle which makes this trek the most interesting.

This trek can be combimed with Prabalgad Fort route starts from Prabal Machi.

 Koraigad Fort

Korigad Trek

Located near Amby Valley Lonavala this fort attacts few trekkers and travellers though is an easy climb with an excellent view. There is a small lake a top Koraigad. Bus going to Amby Valley are available from Lonavala Bus Station to reach till base village Peth Shahpur.

Tandulwadi fort

Tadulwadi Trek

At 5 k.m. east of Saphale Railway Station and is good for one day outing. One can get a good view of Vaitarna and Surya river. The route is very steep and goes over some rocky portions. On the top there are many water tanks, a monsoon lake and remains of settlements. The fort was mainly used as a watch tower in ancient times.

Tikona Fort

Tikona in Marathi means Triangle also known as Vitandgad a hill fort near Kamshet.The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona - Peth. The 3500 ft high hill is pyramidal in shape.

The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of 'Trimbakeshwar Mahadev', a water tanks (seven water tanks) and some Satvahan caves. It offers views of Pawna dam and the nearby forts of Tung, Lohagad and Visapur.
