About:  Irshalgad Fort is located in between Matheran and Panvel in Maharashtra. It is a sister fort to Prabalgad. The area of the fort is not large but there are several water cisterns cuts from the rock.

There is a water tank  on the route from Irshal Plateau to the peak. To reach the top of the pinnacle it is essential to have artificial rock climbing equipment. From the top you can see the forts of Prabalgad, Matheran, Chanderi, Malanggad, Karnala and Manikgad.

KORIGAD FORT

About: Korigad Fort is located  about 20 km away from Lonavala in Pune District in Maharashtra. It is about 929 m above the sea level. The Closest village is Peth Shahpur.

There are two lakes on the top of the fort.  On the top there is a temple of Koraidevi and also many other small temples. The interesting part of the fort is that its wall is completely intact and one can walk along the entire perimeter.

Prabalgad-Fort

About: Prabalgad Fort is located in between Matheran and Panvel in Raigad District in Maharashtra State. The structure is built at a height of 2300 feet in the Sahyadris Mountain Range. Prabalgad Fort is

settled on a top of a plateau.  Prabalgad consists of a sister fort which is named as Irshalgad Fort. It is situated in the vicinity of the main fort. Irshalgad is comparatively smaller in area. However there are numerous water reservoir that were cut from the rock.
